Is Septimius Severus a good general in Evony?

Septimius Severus makes a very effective Evony Siege PvP General. His Siege Attack Buff is very respectable though it must be mentioned that it is let down versus other options due to the inability to add a Siege Attack Skill Book to him. There are therefore better options if you are able to obtain them.

If you wish, then this General will also make a great option as an Evony Siege Defense option. All his buffs are active in defense allowing you to take full advantage of his skills.

Septimius Severus – Special Skill

An Evony General’s Special Skill is always active and requires no development. Read the description carefully to ensure it is having the impact that you expect.

Severan Dynasty

Increases siege machines’ attack by 35% and HP by 20% when General is leading the army.

Below are the additional buffs that an ascended Septimius Severus will receive to his Special Skill for each ascended star level.

• 1 Star – Siege Machine Attack +5%, Defense and HP +10%.
• 2 Star – Marching Troop Death into Wounded Rate +8%.
• 3 Star – Siege Machine Attack +10%, March Size Capacity +4%.
• 4 Star – Siege Machine Defense +25% and HP +25%.
• 5 Star – Siege Machine Attack +20%, March Size Capacity +6%.

Everything for this build is focused on improving a very heavy siege march. This is likely only viable for big spenders as the gem repair cost could be very high. However, it is particularly potent and will cause huge damage to the enemy.
