Is Vladimir the Great a good general in Evony?

Vladimir the Great is a fantastic option as an Evony Ranged PvP General. His base special skill sees ranged attack gain a nice 20% buff.

In addition, he can also make a great Evony Sub City Attack General. His special skill decreases all troop types attack by 10%.

Vladimir the Great – Special Skill

An Evony General’s Special Skill is always active and requires no development. Read the description carefully to ensure it is having the impact that you expect.

Dignity of Grand Prince

Reduces enemy troops’ attack by 10% and increases your ranged troops’ attack by 20% when General is leading the army.

Ascended Special Skill Buffs

Below are the additional buffs that an ascended Vladimir the Great will receive to his Special Skill for each ascended star level.

• 1 Star – Enemy Troop Attack -5%.
• 2 Star – Increases Troop Death into Wounded Rate by 8% when General is leading the army to attack.
• 3 Star – March Size Capacity +10%.
• 4 Star – Ranged Troop Attack +5%, Defense and HP +10%.
• 5 Star – Ranged Troop Attack +10%, Defense and HP +10%.

Vladimir the Great – Builds

The below builds outline which skill books and equipment refines you should use depending on your requirements.

Ranged PvP

This build is ideal for players who are very range heavy. It sacrifices everything in favor of ranged attack whilst also topping up ranged troop HP and Defense via equipment refines.

This build will ensure you do maximum damage, especially in the early game when players are quite mounted heavy. You can alternatively swap March Size for Ranged Troop HP if you want to give your Ranged troops a bit more durability.
