Evony 4.5 Update: New Level Cap, Monsters, and more!

The time has come for the biggest Evony update we have seen since the introduction of Assistant Generals and General Ascending! The latest Evony 4.5 Update looks to be a massive game changer with a new level cap for buildings, higher troop levels, new Boss Monsters, Spiritual Beast improvements, and much more! The update will be released on June the 20th 2023. Keep reading below for all you need to know about what is coming in the Evony 4.5 Update.

Increased Building Level Cap

The most important change being introduced in the Evony 4.5 Update is a bew building level cap. Currently, the max level you can upgrade to is level 40, but after the update, you will be able to go all the way to level 45! Expect huge extra buffs for those who can make it that high, but the cost will be eye-watering!

New Council of State Building

In this Evony Update, we will also get a new building called the Council of State. When constructed, players will be able to manage their military and political affairs directly from here. This will include appointing Generals to military titles and positions within a Senate to receive attribute bonuses.

Higher Troops Levels

After the update, players will be able to upgrade their Troops to level 16. Expect these to be hugely powerful but also very expensive to attain.

Increased Subordinate City Capacity

Following Evony Update 4.5, players will be able to unlock an additional two Subordinate Cities once certain conditions are met. This will be a big help to players who already find the currently available slots far too small.

Ideal Lands

This is another new building that has been added to the game and is found inside your Keep. You can enter the building where you will find a new area with ruins that can be cleared to make way for your own decorations. Depending on what players build, they will obtain different buffs.

New Technology Research

New technology will be available to be researched in the Academy building. This will include Melee Formation, Long Range Formation, and Defense Advance.

Higher Level Traps

After the Evony 4.5 Update players will now be able to upgrade Traps to level 9 for increased damage.

Spiritual Beast Innate Skills

Spiritual Beasts are set to get a lot stronger after this update. After reaching a certain level, Siren, Nine-tailed Fox, and Pegasus will unlock the Spritiual Beast Seal feature. Each will grant additional attributes and upgrading them will unlock Innate Skills for even greater effectiveness.

Increased Dragon Talent Level Cap

You will now be able to upgrade the talent level of your Dragons to an even higher level for further attribute bonuses.

Improved Events

A lot of the new content from this Evony update will cost a significant amount of resources. To compensate for this, the developers have decided to improve the rewards from a lot of the existing events. This will include better rewards from Boss Monsters, Event Monsters, Battlefields, and regular events. There will also be a new Hard mode for the Undead Invasion and an Excellent Garuda introduced.

Higher Level Resource Spots

Higher-level Resource Spots will be introduced so that more can be Gathered from a single march.

New Boss Monsters

New Boss Monsters will be introduced for even greater rewards. However, the new Poem of History quest, called Beast Tide, must first be completed before these are unlocked.
