Is Alexander Hamilton a good general in Evony?

Alexander Hamilton is a good Ground PvP General; however, to get the most out of him, he really needs to be developed in terms of his Ascensions and Specialities. This is due to his Special Skill going a bit against the grain for this General type, in that his kit has a bias towards buffing the attack stat when really you want the major focus to be on durability for Ground Troops. As such, he can be an expensive option, and there are better choices if you plan to just use him out of the box as is. Additionally, his buffs are largely only active in attack, so don’t be tempted to use him as your Defense General.

An Evony General’s Special Skill is always active and requires no development. Read the description carefully to ensure it is having the impact that you expect.

Father of American Finance

Increases ground troops’ attack, defense and HP by 35% when General is leading the army to attack. Increases ground troops and mounted troops’ attack by 20% when General brings any dragon or Spiritual Beast to attack.

Below are the additional buffs that an ascended Alexander Hamilton will receive to his Special Skill for each ascended star level.

• 1 Star – Attacking Ground Troop Attack +15% and Defense +10%
• 2 Star – Attacking Troop Death into Wounded Rate +8%
• 3 Star – Attacking Ground Troop Attack and HP +25%
• 4 Star – Attacking Ground Troop and Mounted Troop Defense +20%, March Size +10%
• 5 Star – Attacking Mounted Troop and Ground Troop Attack +35%, Attacking Ground Troop Defense and HP +35%

Ground PvP

This build is ideal for players who are very ground-heavy. It sacrifices everything in favor of ground attack, HP, and speed. This build will work well for both a ground attack march and as a Wall Defense General. It will help your ground troops get to the enemy quicker and give them greater HP to withstand ranged attacks as they go forward.
