Is Francis Drake a good general in Evony?

Francis Drake can instantly slot in as your lead Siege PvP General due to a Special Skill, Royal Navy Vice Admiral, which adds 55% to siege attack and still allows you to add a Siege Machine attack Skill Book for an easy 80% buff right off the bat. His kit also adds a lot of durability to the typically squishy Siege Machines, with his Special Skill also adding 55% HP and 40% defense. Finally, youcan also consider using him as your Siege Defense General due to his buffs being active in both attack and defense.

Increases siege machines’ attack and HP by 55% and siege machines’ defense by 40% when General is leading the army.

Siege PvP

Everything for this build is focused on improving a very heavy siege march. This is likely only viable for big spenders as the gem repair cost could be very high. However, it is particularly potent and will cause huge damage to the enemy.
