Is Louis II a good general in Evony?

Louis II is a purist when it comes to Ground PvP with no role outside of this. However, as you’d expect, this does mean he is excellent in this position. His Special Skill, Liberator of Bari, is the start of the show, adding solid buffs across Ground Troop stats with 55% to attack and HP and 40% to defense. He also has no Skill Book restrictions to speak of, giving you free rein on how to build him.

Louis II – Special Skill

Liverator of Bari

Increases ground troops’ attack and HP by 55% and ground troops’ defense by 40% when General is leading the army to attack.

Ascended Special Skill Buffs

Below are the additional buffs that an ascended Louis II will receive to his Special Skill for each ascended star level.

• 1 Star – Attacking Ground Troop Attack +15%, Defense and HP +10%
• 2 Star – Attacking Troop Death into Wounded Rate +8%
• 3 Star – Attacking Ground Troop Attack +25%, Attacking Ground Troop and Mounted Troop Defense +25%
• 4 Star – Attacking Mounted Troop and Ground Troop HP +25%, March Size Capacity +10%
• 5 Star – Attacking Mounted Troop and Ground Troop Attack +40%, Attacking Ground Troop Defense and HP +25%

Ground PvP

This build is ideal for players who are very ground-heavy. It sacrifices everything in favor of ground attack, HP, and speed. This build will work well for both a ground attack march and as a Wall Defense General. It will help your ground troops get to the enemy quicker and give them greater HP to withstand ranged attacks as they go forward.
