Is Maria Theresa a good general in Evony?

Maria Theresa is a great option for taking on Boss Monsters. Indeed, with her Special Skill, Queen of Hungary, she sees a massive 45% increase in Mounted Troop attack, defense, and HP when attacking Monsters. On top of this, she also sees the stamina cost of these attacks reduced by 20%.

With this kit, she can easily be used as one of your lead Monster Hunting Generals. With her high Mounted Troop buffs, you will be able to take down higher-level Monsters with much lower losses whilst also saving some stamina at the same time.

Maria Theresa – Special Skill

An Evony General’s Special Skill is always active and requires no development. Read the description carefully to ensure it is having the impact that you expect.

Queen of Hungary

Increases mounted troops’ attack, defense and HP by 45% and reduces your Stamina cost by 20% when General is leading the army to attack Monsters.

Ascended Special Skill Buffs

Below are the additional buffs that an ascended Maria Theresa will receive to her Special Skill for each ascended star level.

• 1 Star – When attacking Monsters, Double Items Drop Rate from Monsters +10%, March Speed to Monsters +5%.
• 2 Star – When attacking Monsters, Monsters Attack -10%, March Speed to Monsters +10%.
• 3 Star – March Size Capacity +10%; when attacking Monsters, Stamina cost -5%.
• 4 Star – When attacking Monsters, Mounted Troop Attack +30%.
• 5 Star – When attacking Monsters, Double Items Drop Rate from Monsters +10%, Stamina cosy -5%.

The below builds outline which skill books and equipment refines you should use depending on your requirements.

Big Prey Hunter

This build is ideal for players who are looking to take down big monster prey. It sacrifices everything in favor of mounted attack and mounted HP via equipment refines and skill books.

This build will ensure you do maximum damage to boss monsters on the first hit in order to minimize your losses. However, this does therefore sacrifice on a Luck Skill Book for the increased double drop rate chance.

• Lvl 4 Mounted Troop Attack Against Monster – Mounted Attack Against Monster +45%
• Lvl 4 March Size – March Size +12%
• Equipment Refines:

• Boots – Mounted Troop Defense % x4
• Helmet – Mounted Troop HP % x4

Looter Hunter Hybrid

This build will allow you to take down big boss monsters whilst also maximizing your loot return. It replaces the march size skill book with the luck skill book to increase the double-item drop rate. This will of course decrease your damage but the double drops are good compensation.

• Lvl 4 Mounted Troop Attack Against Monster – Mounted Attack Against Monster +45%
• Lvl 4 Luck – Double Items Drop Rate +18%
• Lvl 4 Mounted Troop Attack – Mounted Attack +25%
• Equipment Refines:

• Armor – Mounted Troop Defense % x4

• Helmet – Mounted Troop HP % x4
