Is Michael VIII a good general in Evony?

Michael VIII is a pure Evony Duty General that should be placed in the Market if you are lucky enough to get him. His special skill, Palaiologan Dynasty, increases in-city ground and mounted attack and defense by 25% and in-city ground and mounted HP by 30% when he is the Market Officer. This is a great boost to your defensive capabilities.

Michael VIII – Special Skill

Palaiologan Dynasty

Increases in-city ground troops and mounted troops’ attack and defense by 25% and in-city ground troops and mounted troops’ HP by 30% when General is the Market Officer.

Ascended Special Skill Buffs

Below are the additional buffs that an ascended Michael VIII will receive to his Special Skill for each ascended star level.

• 1 Star – When General is the Market Officer, In-city Ground Troop and Mounted Troop Defense and HP +20%.
• 2 Star – When General is the Market Officer, Construction Speed +10%, In-city Ground Troop and Mounted Troop Attack +15%.
• 3 Star – When General is the Market Officer, Enemy Ranged Troop Attack -30% and Defense -20%.
• 4 Star – When General is the Market Officer, In-Rally Ground Troop and Mounted Troop Attack, Defense, and HP +20%.
• 5 Star – When General is the Market Officer, Ground Troop and Mounted Troop Attack +15% and HP +20%.

Michael VIII – Specialities

Michael VIII – Builds

As a pure Evony Duty General, there is no need to add skill books or equipment to this general. These have no impact on the general when they are on duty at a building.
