Is Mu Guiying a good general in Evony?

Despite not being able to take a Siege Machine Skill Book, Mu Guiying makes an excellent Siege PvP and Siege Defense General. Her Special Skill, Heroine of the Yang Family, adds a huge 45% to her Siege Machine attack which drives the utility here whilst also adding some durability with a 20% HP and defense buff. However, it should also be noted that her Specialities add some good attack buffs to Ranged Troops which sees her as an interesting option for a mixed march.

Mu Guiying – Special Skill

An Evony General’s Special Skill is always active and requires no development. Read the description carefully to ensure it is having the impact that you expect.

Heroine of the Yang Family

Increases siege machines’ attack by 45% and siege machines’ defense and HP by 20% when General is leading the army.

Ascended Special Skill Buffs

Below are the additional buffs that an ascended Mu Guiying will receive to her Special Skill for each ascended star level.

• 1 Star – Siege Machine Attack +5% and Defense +15%.
• 2 Star – Marching Troop Death into Wounded Rate +10%.
• 3 Star – Siege Machine Attack +5%, March Size Capacity +8%.
• 4 Star – Ranged Troop and Siege Machine Defense +20%, Siege Machine Attack +30%.
• 5 Star – Siege Machine Attack +25%, HP and Defense +15%.

Mu Guiying – Specialities

These skills are unlocked once the Evony General reaches level 25. They can be expensive to develop, requiring Gems and Runestones. Read our Evony General Guide for more details.

Siege PvP

Everything for this build is focused on improving a very heavy siege march. This is likely only viable for big spenders as the gem repair cost could be very high. However, it is particularly potent and will cause huge damage to the enemy.

• Lvl 4 Siege Machine Range Bonus – Siege Machine Range +200
• Lvl 4 March Size – March Size +12%

• Axe – Siege Machine Attack % x4

• Boots – Siege Machine Defense % x4
• Helmet – Siege Machine HP % x4
• Leg Armor – Siege Machine HP % x4

Siege Defense

Everything for this build is focused on improving a very heavy siege city defense. This is likely only viable for big spenders as the gem repair cost could be very high. However, it is particularly potent and will cause huge damage to the attacker. HP is added to give a bit more durability to your siege machines.
