Is Narcissus a good general in Evony?

Narcissus is a pure Ground PvP General driven mainly by his Special Skill, Golden Glory, which adds 50% to Ground Troop HP and a further 40% to their defense. Indeed, this plays right into the strengths of Ground Troops, making his marches extremely durable against the barrage of enemy attacks. In addition to this, he has no Skill Book restrictions meaning you have free reign on how to build him. However, it should be noted that most of his buffs are only active on the attack. Therefore, avoid using him as your main Defense General as there are plenty of better options here.

Narcissus – Special Skill

An Evony General’s Special Skill is always active and requires no development. Read the description carefully to ensure it is having the impact that you expect.

Golden Glory

Increases ground troops’ attack and HP by 50% and increases ground troops and mounted troops’ defense by 40% when General is leading the army to attack.

Ascended Special Skill Buffs

Below are the additional buffs that an ascended Narcissus will receive to his Special Skill for each ascended star level.

• 1 Star – Marching Ground Troop Attack +10%, Defense and HP +10%.
• 2 Star – Marching Troop Death into Wounded Rate +8%.
• 3 Star – Marching Ground Troop and Mounted Troop Attack +20%, March Size Capacity +10%.
• 4 Star – Marching Ground Troop Defense +20% and HP +20%.
• 5 Star – Attacking Ground Troop Attack +40%, March Size Capcity +8%.

Narcissus – Specialities

These skills are unlocked once the Evony General reaches level 25. They can be expensive to develop, requiring Gems and Runestones. Read our Evony General Guide for more details.

• Enemy Troop HP -10%

• Marching Ground Troop Attack +50%
• Attacking Mounted Troop and Ground Troop Defense +30%

Narcissus – Skins

Applying a Skin to your General grants some great extra buffs, below are those available for this General.

• Marching Ranged Troop HP +15%
• Enemy Ranged Troop and Siege Machine Attack -10%

Ground PvP

This build is ideal for players who are very ground-heavy. It sacrifices everything in favor of ground attack, HP, and speed. This build will work well for both a ground attack march and as a Wall Defense General. It will help your ground troops get to the enemy quicker and give them greater HP to withstand ranged attacks as they go forward.
