Is Olaf Skotkonung a good general in Evony?

Olaf Skotkonung is an all-out Siege PvP General with huge power delivered from his Special Skill, Ode to Olaf, which adds 60% to the attack and defense of Siege Machines with a further 45% to their HP. This level of buffs allows you to start using him right away, though, of course, to really see his true potential, you’ll want to develop his Ascensions and his Specialities. However, as a premium General, this will cost a significant amount, especially when it comes to ascending him.

Ode to Olaf

Increases siege machines’ attack and defense by 60% and siege machines’ HP by 45% when General is leading the army to attack.

Everything for this build is focused on improving a very heavy siege march. This is likely only viable for big spenders as the gem repair cost could be very high. However, it is particularly potent and will cause huge damage to the enemy.
