Is Sweyn Forkbeard a good general in Evony?

You can’t go wrong with this General when it comes to putting up a Ground Defense or even when launching an attack. Indeed, Sweyn excels in both these roles with a Special Skill, Viking Kings, which adds a huge 40% to the HP and attack of Ground Troops, and a further 10% to their defense. Even better, he has no Skill Book restrictions and is therefore a pretty great choice even without any further development.

Sweyn Forkbeard – Special Skill

An Evony General’s Special Skill is always active and requires no development. Read the description carefully to ensure it is having the impact that you expect.

Viking King

Increases ground troops’ attack and HP by 40% and ground troops and mounted troops’ defense by 10% when General is leading the army.

Ascended Special Skill Buffs

Below are the additional buffs that an ascended Sweyn Forkbeard will receive to his Special Skill for each ascended star level.

• 1 Star – Ground Troop Attack +10% and HP +15%.
• 2 Star – Marching Troop Death into Wounded rate +10%.
• 3 Star – Mounted Troop and Ground Troop Defense +10%, March Size Capacity +8%.
• 4 Star – Mounted Troop and Ground Troop Attack +10% and Defense +15%.
• 5 Star – Ground Troop Attack +30% and Defense +35%.

Ground PvP

This build is ideal for players who are very ground-heavy. It sacrifices everything in favor of ground attack, HP, and speed. This build will work well for both a ground attack march and as a Wall Defense General. It will help your ground troops get to the enemy quicker and give them greater HP to withstand ranged attacks as they go forward.
