Is Totila a good general in Evony?

Totila is easily one of the Best Ground PvP Generals in the game with a kit that is stacked towards buffing this troop type to the max. This starts out strong with his Special Skill, Gothic Sword, that adds a huge 45% to Ground Troop attack and defense and a further 30% to their HP. Fully ascending him and maxing out his Specialty and Covenant could see you hit a ridiculous 165% Ground Troop attack buff before even considering the additional impact of Skill Books. However, one word of caution is to not use him as a Defense General as almost all his buffs are only active on the offense.

Totila – Special Skill

An Evony General’s Special Skill is always active and requires no development. Read the description carefully to ensure it is having the impact that you expect.

Gothic Sword

Increases ground troops’ attack and defense by 45% and increases ground troops and mounted troops’ HP by 30% when General is leading the army to attack.

Ascended Special Skill Buffs

Below are the additional buffs that an ascended Totila will receive to his Special Skill for each ascended star level.

• 1 Star – Marching Troops Attack +10%.
• 2 Star – Marching Troop Death into Wounded Rate +8%.
• 3 Star – Marching Ground Troop Attack +20% and Defense +20%.
• 4 Star – Marching Ground Troop and Mounted Troop Defense +15% and HP +15%.
• 5 Star – When attacking, Ground Troop Attack and HP +20%, March Size Capacity +8%.

Totila – Specialities

Ground PvP

This build is ideal for players who are very ground-heavy. It sacrifices everything in favor of ground attack, HP, and speed. This build will work well for both a ground attack march and as a Wall Defense General. It will help your ground troops get to the enemy quicker and give them greater HP to withstand ranged attacks as they go forward.
