Is Vercingetorix a good general in Evony?

Vercingetorix makes for an excellent choice as a Ground PvP General due to a kit that is essentially purely focused on Ground Troops. This starts with his Special Skill, King of Warriors, which adds 60% to their attack and defense and 40% to their HP. In addition, if you fully develop him, you will be able to lead huge rallies due to Rally Capacity buffs as well as significant buffs to his own March Size. However, it should be noted that he is only useful in attack, with most of his buffs only being active in this role.

Vercingetorix – Special Skill

An Evony General’s Special Skill is always active and requires no development. Read the description carefully to ensure it is having the impact that you expect.

King of Warriors

Increases ground troops’ attack and defense by 60% and increases ground troops’ and mounted troops’ HP by 40% when General is leading the army to attack.

Ascended Special Skill Buffs

Below are the additional buffs that an ascended Vercingetorix will receive to his Special Skill for each ascended star level.

• 1 Star – Attacking Ground Troop Attack +15%, Defense and HP +10%
• 2 Star – Attacking Troop Death into Wounded Rate +8%
• 3 Star – Attacking Ground Troop Attack +30%, when General is launching Alliance War, Rally Capacity +5%
• 4 Star – When attacking, Ground Troop Defense and HP +30%, March Size Capacity +10%
• 5 Star – Attacking Ground Troop and Mounted Troop Attack and HP +45%; when General is launching Alliance War, Rally Capacity +5%

Ground PvP

This build is ideal for players who are very ground-heavy. It sacrifices everything in favor of ground attack, HP, and speed. This build will work well for both a ground attack march and as a Wall Defense General. It will help your ground troops get to the enemy quicker and give them greater HP to withstand ranged attacks as they go forward.
