Is Li Jing a good general in Evony?

Li Jing makes a decent Evony Monster Hunter General and Mounted PvP General. His special skill gives a huge mounted troop attack bonus of 35%.

He can also be purchased from the Tavern, making him a good option for low spenders.

Li Jing – Special Skill

An Evony General’s Special Skill is always active and requires no development. Read the description carefully to ensure it is having the impact that you expect.

Ascended Special Skill Buffs

Below are the additional buffs that an ascended Li Jing will receive to his Special Skill for each ascended star level.

• 1 Star – Mounted Troop Attack +5% and Defense +10%.
• 2 Star – Increases Troop Death into Wounded Rate by 8% when General is leading the army to attack.
• 3 Star – When General is launching Alliance War, Rally Capacity +6%.
• 4 Star – Mounted Troop Attack +10% and HP +20%.
• 5 Star – Mounted Troop Attack +10%, Mounted Troop Defense and HP +10%.

Li Jing – Specialities

The below builds outline which skill books and equipment refines you should use depending on your requirements.

Big Prey Hunter

This build is ideal for players who are looking to take down big monster prey. It sacrifices everything in favor of mounted attack and mounted HP via equipment refines and skill books.

This build will ensure you do maximum damage to boss monsters on the first hit. This will minimize your losses and allow you to take on higher-level bosses for better rewards.

• Lvl 4 Mounted Troop Attack Against Monster – Mounted Attack Against Monster +45%
• Lvl 4 Mounted Troop HP – Mounted HP +25%
• Lvl 4 March Size – March Size +12%
• Equipment Refines:
• Spear – Mounted Troop Attack % x4
• Armor – Mounted Troop Defense % x4
• Boots – Mounted Troop Defense % x4
• Helmet – Mounted Troop HP % x4

Looter Hunter Hybrid

This build will allow you to take down big boss monsters whilst also maximizing your loot return. It replaces the mounted HP skill book with the luck skill book to increase double item drop rate.

This will of course decrease your damage output slightly. However, the double drops are good compensation.

• Lvl 4 Luck – Double Items Drop Rate +18%
• Lvl 4 March Size – March Size +12%
• Equipment Refines:

Mounted PvP

Mounted PvP can be very useful in the early and late stages of the game. Early game, players will have huge, mounted marches which you can destroy with your higher mounted buff.

Late game you will start to come across keeps set up with ground troop defenses, mounted troops annihilate them. This build will maximize your mounted attack and mounted HP for a mounted PvP march.
