Is Scipio Africanus a good general in Evony?

Scipio Africanus is one of the best Evony Ground PvP Generals in the game. He has huge HP and Attack buffs for ground troops which makes him ideal for this march type.

A huge part of these buffs also comes from his special skill, meaning he does not need a huge amount of development to make good. However, he should not be used in defense, as most of these buffs are only active in attack.

Scipio Africanus – Special Skill

An Evony General’s Special Skill is always active and requires no development. Read the description carefully to ensure it is having the impact that you expect.

Conqueror

Increases ground troops attack by 30% and increases ground troops’ HP by 40% when General is leading the army to attack.

Ascended Special Skill Buffs

Below are the additional buffs that an ascended Scipio Africanus will receive to his Special Skill for each ascended star level.

• 1 Star – Increases Ground Troop Attack by 15% and Mounted Troop and Ground Troop Defense by 15% when General is leading the army to attack.
• 2 Star – Increases Troop Death into Wounded Rate by 10% when General is leading the army to attack.
• 3 Star – When General is launching Alliance War, Rally Capacity +8%.
• 4 Star – Increases Mounted Troop and Ground Troop Defense by 35% when General is leading the army to attack.
• 5 Star – Increases Ground Troop Attack by 20%, HP by 15% and Mounted Troop and ground Troop Defense by 10% when General is leading the army to attack.

Ground PvP

This build is ideal for players who are very ground-heavy. It sacrifices everything in favor of ground attack, HP, and speed. This build will work well for both a ground attack march and as a Wall Defense General.

It will help your ground troops get to the enemy quicker and give them greater HP to withstand ranged attacks as they go forward.
