Is Surena a good general in Evony?

This Evony General makes a great option for players who are Siege Machine heavy. The special skill alone packs a big punch without any meaningful development. Unfortunately, though he cannot have a siege skill book added which sees him fall down the rankings a little.

Surena can also be Awakened through the General Ascension feature for even more buffs. However, this is very expensive and he is still a great General without this.

In addition, this General can be very effective as an Evony Siege Defense General.

Surena – Special Skill

An Evony General’s Special Skill is always active and requires no development. Read the description carefully to ensure it is having the impact that you expect.

Shield of Parthians

Increases siege machines’ attack by 25% when General is leading the army to attack, and by an extra 15% when General brings any dragon.

Ascended Special Skill Buffs

Below are the additional buffs that an ascended Surena will receive to his Special Skill for each ascended star level.

• 1 Star – Increases Siege Machine Attack by 5%, Defense and HP by 10% when General is leading the army.
• 2 Star – Enemy In-city Troop Wounded into Death rate +10%.
• 3 Star – When General is launching Alliance War, Rally Capacity +8%.
• 4 Star – Increases Siege Machine Attack by 5%, Defense and HP by 15% when General is leading the army.
• 5 Star – Increases Siege Machine Attack by 5%, Defense and HP by 10% when General is leading the army. Increases Siege Machine Attack by another 10% when General brings any dragon.

Everything for this build is focused on improving a very heavy siege march. This is likely only viable for big spenders as the gem repair cost could be very high. However, it is particularly potent and will cause huge damage to the enemy.
