Is Toyotomi Hideyori a good General in Evony?

This Evony General is strongest when utilized in a Ranged PvP March. However, they also see a good amount of buffs to Siege Machines from their Special Skill and final Specialty. There, they can work very well when using a mixed march of these troops types.

In addition to the above, their second specialty also provides a 10% debuff to enemy troop attack when maxed out. This is very effective at lowering your losses in battle.

Overall, though, Toyotomi Hideyori does not feature that high in any tier lists. There are better options available for both Ranged PvP March and Siege PvP March.

Toyotomi Hideyori – Special Skill

Increases ranged troops and siege machines’ attack by 20% and increases ranged troops’ defense and HP by 10% when General is leading the army.

• 1 Star – Ranged Troop Attack +5%, Ranged Troop and Siege Machine HP +10%.
• 2 Star – Enemy In-city Troop Wounded into Death rate +8%.
• 3 Star – March Size Capacity +10%.
• 4 Star – Ranged Troop Attack +10%, Ranged Troop and Siege Machine Defense +15%.
• 5 Star – Ranged Troop Attack +20%, Defense and HP +10%.

Toyotomi Hideyori – Builds

The below builds outline which skill books and equipment refines you should use depending on your requirements.

Ranged PvP

This build is ideal for players who are very range heavy. It sacrifices everything in favor of ranged attack whilst also topping up ranged troop HP and Defense via equipment refines.

This build will ensure you do maximum damage, especially in the early game when players are quite mounted heavy. You can alternatively swap March Size for Ranged Troop HP if you want to give your Ranged troops a bit more durability.

• Lvl 4 Ranged Troop Attack – Ranged Attack +25%
• Lvl 4 Ranged Troop Range Bonus – Ranged Troop Range +100
• Lvl 4 March Size – March Size +12%
• Equipment Refines:
• Bow – Ranged Troop Attack % x4
• Armor – Ranged Troop Defense % x4
• Boots – Ranged Troop Defense % x4
• Helmet – Ranged Troop HP % x4
• Leg Armor – Ranged Troop HP % x4
• Ring – Ranged Troop Attack % x4

Siege and Ranged PvP

This build focuses on a mixed range and siege PvP march. It looks to increase the damage output of both troop types whilst also increasing the ranged troop range.

You can always swap this for siege range if you prefer. However, we favor it on the ranged troops since siege machines already have an incredible attack range.
