Is Yodo-dono a good general in Evony?

Yodo-dono is a great option as a Ranged Wall Defense General. Her special skill gives ranged troops a massive 40% attack buff when in defense, with her specializations adding further to this. In addition, her special skill also adds a 20% HP buff to all troop types making your entire army much more durable against an attack.

However, the majority of her skills and specializations are only active in defense. You should therefore not use her to attack other players directly.

Yodo-dono – Special Skill

An Evony General’s Special Skill is always active and requires no development. Read the description carefully to ensure it is having the impact that you expect.

Lady Chacha

Increases in-city ranged troops’ attack by 40% and increases in-city troops’ HP by 20% when General is the Main City Defense General.

Ascended Special Skill Buffs

Below are the additional buffs that an ascended Yodo-dono will receive to her Special Skill for each ascended star level.

• 1 Star – When General is the Main City Defense General, In-city Troops HP +15%.
• 2 Star – When General is the Main City Defense General, Hospital Capacity +20%.
• 3 Star – When General is the Main City Defense General, In-city Troops Defense +20% and Extra +10% for In-city Ranged Troop.
• 4 Star – When General is the Main City Defense General, In-city Ranged Troop and Siege Machine Attack +15%, In-city Ranged Troop HP +15%.
• 5 Star – When General is the Main City Defense General, In-city Ranged Troop and Siege Machine Attack +20%, In-city Ranged Troop Defense and HP +15%.

Ranged Defense

Range defense build for players who are very range focused or do not want the gem repair cost associated with siege machines. Although not as powerful as a siege defense, it is still very effective.

• Skill Books:
• Lvl 4 Ranged Troop Attack – Ranged Attack +25%
• Lvl 4 Ranged Troop HP – Ranged HP +25%
• Lvl 4 Ranged Troop Range Bonus – Ranged Troop Range +100
