Is Gaius Marius a good general in Evony?

Gaius Marius is a real specialist when it comes to Ore Gathering. His Special Skill, The Marian Reforms, increases ore gathering speed by a massive 30%. In addition, it also increases the speed of gathering wood and stone by 15%. Outside of Queen Jindeok, he is easily one of the Best Evony Gathering Generals and will work nicely until you are able to get a Queen Jindeok for all of your marches.

The Marian Reforms

Increases Ore Gathering Speed by 30% and increases Lumber and Stone Gathering Speed by 15% from World Map Resource Spots when General is leading the army.
