Is Hojo Ujiyasu a good general in Evony?

Hojo Ujiyasu is a great Evony Sub PvP General for countering enemy Ranged Troops and Mounted Troops. His special skill, Lion of Sagami, reduces ranged attack by a massive 35% and mounted HP by 35%. This is huge, especially in the early game where the enemy Keeps will typically be quite loaded with the Troop Types.

Hojo Ujiyasu – Special Skill

Lion of Sagami

Reduces enemy ranged troops’ attack by 35% and enemy mounted troops’ HP by 35% when General is leading the army.

Ascended Special Skill Buffs

Below are the additional buffs that an ascended Hojo Ujiyasu will receive to his Special Skill for each ascended star level.

• 1 Star – Enemy Ranged Troop Attack -10%, Enemy Mounted Troop HP -15%.
• 2 Star – Enemy Ranged Troop and Siege Machine Defense -15%; when General is the Mayor, Training Speed in this Subordinate City +15%.
• 3 Star – Enemy Ranged Troop and Siege Machine HP -15%; when General is the Mayor, Death into Survival Rate in this Subordinate City +15%.
• 4 Star – Enemy Mounted Troop HP -20%, Enemy Ground Troop and Mounted Troop HP -20%.
• 5 Star – Enemy Ranged Troop Attack -25%, Enemy Ground Troop and Mounted Troop Defense -20%.

It is a good idea to focus your sub cities on building one troop type and tilting the general build towards this.
