Is Idunn a good general in Evony?

Idunn fills quite a niche role as an Evony General, in that she is best used when sending your armies out to reinforce and defend other Keeps or buildings with Ranged Troops. Indeed, her Special Skill, Golden Apple, adds a massive 35% HP to Ranged Troops and Siege under these circumstances. In addition, it also adds 45% to Ranged Troop attack at all times. This makes her perfect for alliance teamwork, sending her in to help an ally out and watch the enemy get a nasty surprise.

It is also possible to use her as a lead PvP Ranged General to attack other players due to the 45% Ranged Attack buff, as well as the additional buffs from her specialties. However, there are better Generals for this specific role and you are better off using one of them in these circumstances if you have them.

Idunn – Special Skill

An Evony General’s Special Skill is always active and requires no development. Read the description carefully to ensure it is having the impact that you expect.

Golden Apple

Increases ranged troops and siege machines’ defense and HP by 35% when General is leading the army to defend outside the Main City. Increases ranged troops’ attack by 45% when General is leading the army.

Ascended Special Skill Buffs

Below are the additional buffs that an ascended Idunn will receive to her Special Skill for each ascended star level.

• 1 Star – Ranged Troop Defense and HP +15%; when defending outside the Main City, Ranged Troop Attack +10%.
• 2 Star – When defending outside the Main City, Troop Death into Survival Rate +8%, Ranged Troop Defense +15%.
• 3 Star – March Size Capacity +10%; when defending outside the Main City, Ranged Troop Attack +15%.
• 4 Star – Ranged Troop and Siege Machine HP +30%; when defending outside the Main City, Ranged Troop Defense and HP +25%.
• 5 Star – Ranged Troop Attack +35%; when defending outside the Main City, Ranged Troop Attack and Defense +35%.

Idunn – Specialities

Ranged PvP

This build is ideal for players who are very range-heavy. It sacrifices everything in favor of ranged attack and ranged HP via equipment refines and skill books. With this build, you will do maximum damage, especially in the early game when players are quite mounted heavy, whilst also maintaining a very durable ranged march.

• Skill Books:
• Lvl 4 Ranged Troop Attack – Ranged Attack +25%
• Lvl 4 Ranged Troop Range Bonus – Ranged Troop Range +100
• Lvl 4 March Size – March Size +12%
• Equipment Refines:
• Bow – Ranged Troop Attack % x4
• Armor – Ranged Troop Defense % x4
• Boots – Ranged Troop Defense % x4
• Helmet – Ranged Troop HP % x4
• Leg Armor – Ranged Troop HP % x4
• Ring – Ranged Troop Attack % x4

Ranged Defense

Range defense build for players who are very range-focused or do not want the gem repair cost associated with siege machines. Although not as powerful as a siege defense, it is still very effective.

• Skill Books:

• Lvl 4 Ranged Troop HP – Ranged HP +25%
• Lvl 4 Ranged Troop Range Bonus – Ranged Troop Range +100
