Is Lu Xun a good general in Evony?

Lu Xun is an elite-level Ground Troop PvP General with a Special Skill, Battle of Xiaoting, that adds insane buffs to his troops when attacking. Indeed, it adds 45% to Ground Troop attack and a further 30% to Mounted Troop and Ground Troop HP and defense. And this is before we even add skill books or develop specialties!

Although his Special Skill does add some buffs to Mounted Troops, he is still quite weak in this area and there are better options for a mixed march of these types. Despite this, he will still do a good job for you if you have no other General that will suit this role well.

Lu Xun – Special Skill

An Evony General’s Special Skill is always active and requires no development. Read the description carefully to ensure it is having the impact that you expect.

Please note, that this General can be ascended through the Evony General Ascending feature. Each ascended star level will add an additional buff to the General’s Special skill. Read our Evony General Ascending Guide for more details on Evony General Ascension.

Battle of Xiaoting

This build will work well for both a ground attack march and as a Wall Defense General. It will help your ground troops get to the enemy quicker and give them greater HP to withstand ranged attacks as they go forward.
